Rooted youth!

It’s been a while since we have posted anything but we recently have been talking about what it looks like to live the way Jesus calls us to live. We have been breaking down and unpacking the great commission Jesus gives to His disciples in Matthew 28:19-20. (stop here and go read it, even if youre familiar with it) Part of the great commission is obeying the things Jesus taught. One of the greatest is loving our neighbor. So we decided instead of talking about what that looks like we decided to go and live love and then share what happened when we gather. One of the random acts of love was to sponsor an orphan boy named Shek through NCM.org from Bangladesh. Click here if you are involved with us to learn more about him. After talking a bit and reading a few verses in the Bible we all agreed we need to take action in any way we see fit.
